ACCPD 03/25/12

On 3/24/12 at 2345 officers responded to a disturbance on College Ave. Officers met with Eric Turner who stated that Cynthia Walker struck him with a baseball bat. Turner said Walker hit him because Walker was jealous that he was talking to other women. When officers spoke to Cynthia Walker, she said that Turner has her DVD player and that she did not strike him. Turner had an abrasion on his right arm. 03-1658

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Coleridge Ct on 3/25/12 around 0130. Jasmine Lumpkin said her boyfriend had forced her into his car and was driving through the apartment complex. Lumpkin said that he was beating on her and when she dialed 911 the suspect Eddie Mayfield snatched her phone and ran off. Officers were not able to locate Lumpkin. Officers returned later to Lumpkin’s apartment in reference to an open 911 line. Upon arrival Lumpkin said that Mayfield ran before police arrived. Officers checked at the suspect’s sister’s apartment in the same complex and located Mayfield hiding in the bedroom. Mayfield was charged with Battery, Kidnapping, Theft by Taking and obstruction of a 911 call. 03-1666

On 3/24/12 officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Woodsong Ave residence of Kelci Miller. Entry had been made by forcing a back door. A 32” flat screen TV valued at $600 was stolen. 03-1652

Sebrena Key reported her A/C unit was stolen from her Sir Matthew Rd residence on 3/24/12. Key said the theft occurred between 0100 and 1030. The unit is valued at $1200. 03-1601

Cole Stranberg said his Toyota Highlander was entered while parked at his Artisan Place Residence. 2 laptop computers were stolen from the SUV. The incident occurred between 2230 on 3/23 and 1500 on 3/24/12. 03-1624
